Get Rid of Smart Phone Addiction by this tricky hack on yourself.(Talking out of experience)

There are a lot of ways to fight the smartphone addiction.Stuff like get a real alarm clock, replacing the original item which the smartphone replaced with the original item itself like calendar, wrist watch and other stuff are quite effective. I've tried them and really loved it. But this is about a different experience I stumbled upon accidentally but couldn't help not sharing it. This may sound dumb to some people out there but this is for the people who identify themselves as someone who wouldn't hesitate to try out the experience. Honestly I wouldn't have tried that out and keep repeating the stuff if not by discovering it by accident. Why am I writing This ? So to be brutally honest here I was a smartphone addict. The person who'd just keep using the phone for no valid reason at all, mindlessly scrolling, playing games or binge watching only to regret it later after seeing my friend's talk about how they spent time learning something new or hitting a fitness g...

Zombie effect while learning (Mindless learning)

After completing a free Linkedin Learning , I was motivated to try out other online learning websites which offer free trials so that I can decide upon which to invest on while learning stuff in the future. Seeing many YouTubers like Nathaniel Drew , Matt D'Avella and other people I've subscribed promoting a Free trial of Skillshare premium free for two months, I was very much tempted to try it to learn creative stuff from there. But Udemy was in a corner of my mind as I've recently recieved a coupon code for a particular course to be availed for free.So I did what everyone does.Googled Skillshare vs Udemy and came across the review by another YouTuber who claims Skillshare isn't worth the hype due to the zombie effect which he claims to have experienced. Zombie Effect ? Yep.you heard that right. No,You won't starve for human brains! Can you recollect that moment where the teacher is almost done taking a unit and you understood almost nothing? That...

Deep work In the 2016 book "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World" and in his 2012 blog post , Author and Professor Cal Newport describes Deep work as “Professional activity performed in a state of distraction-free concentration that push your cognitive capabilities to their limit. Have you ever been in that state where you are pretty much self aware that you are you aren't able to put your mind into the stuff you must be doing because you constantly get lost in your world of thoughts and not be able to do anything about it at the same time? If you are someone who does not meditate on a regular routine, you are more likely to face it and also more often.Anyways, this article isn't about meditation on its entirety, (I have a different one for that)  but these are like small versions of it which work in a very similar way helping you to get back to the focus you'd need to get back to work.
